Proofreading
Cost: $0.0025 per word

Every author needs that final check to ensure that every comma, period, quotation mark, and paragraph is as it should be. Let me be your final set of eyes, polishing your book prior to publication. Manuscripts to be proofread should be almost ready for their big debut. I will not be verifying that you have consistently applied a personal style sheet, or identify word echoes, grammar, mechanics, or sentence structure. That’s copy editing. If you purchase proofreading services and I believe the manuscript is in need of copy editing (i.e. if there are several significant grammar errors per page), I will give you the option of an upgrade to a copy edit at a rate of $0.0045 per word.

Formatting using Vellum
Cost: $50 for initial setup, first generation of ebooks and print, and one modification (fiction)
          $15 for each modification 

         Formatting of a single fiction book I previously proofread: $25

          Single author box set: $75 for 2-4 books, $125 for 5+ books.
          Multi-author box set: $50 base cost plus $25 for each author over 2.

Want a professional looking final product but don’t have the time or the tools to format it yourself? I will format your book using Vellum, a widely used ebook and print generation program. Author will be provided template of book themes and formatting options available in Vellum. Ebooks for Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Apple, Google and Generic ePubs will be provided as well as a .pdf print book in the requested trim size. One modification for identified formatting change included. Additional corrections in the future to add new book links, etc, are $15 per fix.
